  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce or tamari
  • 2 Tablespoons honey
  • 1 Tablespoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 Tablespoons chopped green onion (scallion)
  • 1 pound salmon fillet


  1. Mix the orange juice, soy sauce, honey, ginger, garlic powder and green onion in a small bowl. Reserve a small amount of the marinade to brush onto the salmon as it cooks.
  2. Place the salmon in a large resealable plastic bag or glass dish. Add remaining marinade, then turn to coat well.
  3. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  4. Remove the salmon from the marinade.
  5. Grill the salmon over medium-high heat 6 to 7 minutes per side, or until fish flakes easily with a fork, basting occasionally with reserved marinade.
