  • 1/4 cup soy sauce or tamari
  • 3 Tablespoons orange juice
  • 2 Tablespoons honey
  • 1 Tablespoon vegetable or canola oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried cilantro leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breast, cut into 3/4-inch strips


  1. Mix the soy sauce, orange juice, honey, vegetable oil, sesame oil, cilantro, garlic and ginger in a medium bowl.
  2. Place the chicken strips in a large resealable plastic bag or glass dish. Add the marinade, then toss to coat well.
  3. Refrigerate for 15 minutes, or longer for extra flavor.
  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade. Discard any remaining marinade.
  5. Thread the chicken strips onto skewers.
  6. Broil or grill over medium-high heat 4 minutes per side, or until chicken is cooked through.
