  • 3/4 cup blueberries
  • 2 Tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 2 Tablespoons water
  • 1 Tablespoon brown sugar, packed
  • 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger


  1. Place the blueberries, vinegar, water, sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon and ginger in a blender jar.
  2. Cover, then blend on high speed until smooth.
  3. Refrigerate until ready to serve.


Serve over salad greens with crumbled or sliced goat cheese, if desired.
