  • 2 Tablespoons honey
  • 2 Tablespoons orange juice
  • 1 Tablespoon soy sauce or tamari
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 6 cups Brussels sprouts, trimmed and cut in half lengthwise
  • 2 Tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans, toasted


  1. Mix the honey, orange juice, soy sauce and ginger in a small bowl with a wire whisk until well blended. Set aside.
  2. Place the Brussels sprouts in a large skillet. Add 1 inch of water, then bring to a boil on high heat.
  3. Reduce heat to low. Cover, and simmer 3 to 4 minutes or until tender-crisp. Drain.
  4. Melt the butter in the same skillet on medium heat. Add the Brussels sprouts, salt and honey mixture, then toss gently.
  5. Cook until heated through.
  6. Sprinkle with pecans before serving.
