  • 1/3 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 cups sugar snap peas
  • 2 sprays cooking spray


  1. Mix the Parmesan cheese, basil, oregano and pepper in a large resealable plastic bag. Set aside.
  2. Beat the egg and garlic powder together in a medium bowl.
  3. Add the sugar snap peas to the egg mixture, then toss to coat well.
  4. Using a slotted spoon, remove the sugar snap peas and place them in the bag with the cheese mixture. Shake to coat well.
  5. Arrange the sugar snap peas in a single layer on a large foil-lined baking sheet that's been treated with cooking spray. Discard any remaining egg and cheese mixture.
  6. Broil 10 minutes, or until coating is golden brown.
