Ingredients

  • 3 pounds beef chuck roast, well-trimmed
  • 1/2 pound baby carrots
  • 1 yellow onion, cut into thick slices
  • 1 pound medium red potato, cut into 1-inch chunks
  • 1 packet McCormick Bag 'n Season Pot Roast
  • 1 cup red wine

Preparation

  1. Place the roast, carrots, onions and potatoes in a slow cooker.
  2. Combine the seasoning mix and wine until blended.
  3. Pour the seasoning blend over the roast and vegetables. Cover.
  4. Cook 8 hours on low, or 4 hours on high.
  5. Remove the roast and vegetables to a serving platter.
  6. Stir the sauce before serving.
