  • 1 Tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 Tablespoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 pounds salmon fillet, cut into serving size piece
  • 2 Tablespoons butter
  • 1 lemon, cut in wedges


  1. Mix garlic powder, basil, and salt and rub onto both sides of salmon fillets.
  2. Melt butter in a skillet and cook salmon until browned and flaky, about 5 minutes on each side, flipping with a spatula.
  3. Serve salmon with a lemon wedge.
