Ingredients

  • 3 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 pound medium or large raw shrimp (deveined), thawed
  • 2 cups asparagus, fresh, trimmed and coarsely chopped
  • 1 cup cherry or grape tomatoes, halved
  • 1 Tablespoon fresh garlic
  • 1 dash hot pepper sauce, to taste
  • 1 Tablespoon grated Romano cheese
  • 1/2 pound linguine pasta

Preparation

  1. Cook the pasta per package directions and drain.
  2. Meanwhile, heat the olive oil over medium-low heat and sauté thawed shrimp, asparagus, tomatoes, and garlic about 5 minutes until shrimp are pink and asparagus is slightly tender.
  3. Stir in hot sauce and salt.
  4. Mix sauce with pasta.
  5. Sprinkle with Romano cheese.
