Cool Strawberry Salsa with Cinnamon Tortilla Chips

This fresh fruit salsa is perfect for summertime entertaining when lighter fare is called for. Cinnamon flavors both the salsa and the quick-baked tortilla chips. Skill Level: Beginner

  • 1 cup strawberries, chopped
  • 1/2 cup kiwi, chopped
  • 1/2 cup diced cucumber
  • 1 Tablespoon honey
  • 2 teaspoons lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon, for the salsa
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 2 Tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, for the chips
  • 6 6-inch flour tortillas
  • 6 sprays cooking spray


  1. For the salsa, mix the strawberries, kiwi, cucumber, honey, lime juice, cinnamon, and ginger in a medium bowl until well blended. Cover. Refrigerate 30 minutes to blend flavors.
  2. For the chips, preheat the oven to 375 ┬░F.
  3. Mix the sugar and cinnamon for the chips in a small bowl.
  4. Spray the tortillas lightly with cooking spray. Cut each into 8 wedges.
  5. Place the wedges on a baking sheet. Sprinkle with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  6. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until crisp.
  7. Cool completely on a wire rack.
  8. Serve with strawberry salsa.
