  • 1 pie crust (refrigerated pie crust)
  • 2 teaspoons butter
  • 3 medium leeks, chopped
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch ground black pepper
  • 1 cup light cream
  • 1 1/4 cups Gruyere cheese, grated


  1. Preheat oven to 375° F (190 C).
  2. °Melt butter over medium-low heat, add leeks, salt, and pepper and saute until soft.
  3. Reduce heat to low and stir in cream and cheese.
  4. Pour mixture into pie shell
  5. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden.
  6. Allow the pie o cool for 10 minutes before cutting the pie into wedges.
