  • 7 cups frozen corn, thawed
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 Tablespoons sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 Tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper


  1. Add the corn, cream, milk, salt, sugar, and white pepper to a large stockpot. Bring to a slow, low boil. Stir frequently and simmer for 5 minutes on low heat.
  2. Melt the butter in a separate pan and whisk in the flour until smooth.
  3. Stir the butter-flour mixture into the corn until well blended.
