  • 1 cup Frozen blueberries
  • 1/2 cup frozen raspberries
  • 1/3 cup cooked beets, sliced
  • 1/4 cup non-fat plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon agave nectar


  1. Place all ingredients in a blender. 
  2. Puree until smooth.
  3. Enjoy!


You can also make smoothies with a hand blender (immersion blender). Fill the cup only 2/3 full to leave room for air to be incorporated into the drink.

You can also use fresh fruits and vegetables instead of frozen, adding about 1/2 cup crushed ice per smoothie serving.
