  • 2 cups sugar snap peas
  • 2 teaspoons vegetable or canola oil
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 cloves minced garlic


  1. Preheat oil over medium/high heat.
  2. Sauté snap peas in oil with salt and pepper for about 2 1/2 to 3 minutes, tossing often, until the peas are cooked but still crispy. The pods should start to get a few dark brown scorched spots when they're done.
  3. Add the garlic and toss for about 5-8 seconds. Remove immediately to a serving platter.
