  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breast, sliced into thin strips
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup corn flakes, crushed
  • 1/4 cup dry breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil


  1. Preheat the oven to 400 ┬░F.
  2. In a medium glass or plastic bowl, combine the chicken breast strips and buttermilk.
  3. Cover and put in the refrigerator for 10 to 15 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, combine the crushed corn flakes, Italian seasoned breadcrumbs, garlic powder, oregano and black pepper in large resealable bag.
  5. After the chicken is chilled, drain off liquid and add chicken to the resealable bag, shaking to coat.
  6. Coat a shallow baking pan with olive oil.
  7. Place the chicken in the pan.
  8. Bake for approximately 4 minutes on each side, or until chicken is thoroughly cooked.
  9. Serve.
