  • 6 pounds bone-in turkey breast
  • 4 teaspoons Italian Seasoning
  • 2 teaspoons seasoned salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 cup water


  1. Preheat oven to 350 °F.
  2. Place a roasting rack in a shallow roasting pan. Mix Italian seasoning, seasoned salt and pepper in a small bowl.
  3. Place turkey breast in the prepared pan. Spread seasoning mixture over entire surface and under skin of the turkey. Cover loosely with heavy-duty foil.
  4. Roast 1 hour. Remove foil. Add water to pan. Roast 1 to 1-1/2 hours longer or until internal temperature reaches 165 °F, basting occasionally with pan juices.
  5. Remove turkey from oven. Let stand, loosely covered with foil, for 15 minutes.
  6. Transfer to a platter or carving board and slice.
