  • 1 pound refrigerated pizza dough, brought to room temperature
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 2 yellow onions, thinly sliced
  • 2 Tablespoons dried thyme leaves
  • 4 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 dash ground black pepper


  1. Preheat oven to 450┬░ F.
  2. If your dough is not already formed into a pizza shape, gently use your hands to pull and shape the room-temperature dough.
  3. Place dough on baking pan or pizza stone and put into the hot oven to partially bake the crust for about 10 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, add the olive oil into your pan over medium heat, add onions, and cook until caramelized, about 10 minutes.
  5. Carefully remove your hot pizza crust from the oven and add cheese, onions, thyme and pepper.
  6. Bake another 10 to 15 minutes until desired crispness.
