  • 1 red grapefruit, sectioned
  • 2 oranges, sectioned
  • 1 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup green bell pepper, chopped and seeded
  • 1/4 cup diced cucumber
  • 1/2 cup tomatillo, chopped
  • 2 Tablespoons chopped red onion
  • 2 Tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup tomato juice
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium vegetable broth or stock
  • 2 Tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt, to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper, to taste


  1. Coarsely chop grapefruit and orange sections and place in a large bowl.
  2. Add remaining ingredients and chill for at least four hours.
  3. Enjoy chilled.
