  • 1 whole-wheat pita
  • 3 Tablespoons pizza sauce
  • 1/4 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 2 Tablespoons yellow bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 Tablespoons yellow onion, sliced
  • 3 Tablespoons Roma or plum tomato, chopped
  • 1/4 cup cooked white meat turkey, chopped in bite-sized pieces


  1. Preheat the oven to 400 ┬░F.
  2. Spread the sauce on pita and top with the cheese, bell peppers, tomatoes, onion, turkey and mushrooms.
  3. Bake 8 to 10 minutes until cheese is melted.
