  • 10 ounces whole-wheat fusilli pasta
  • 1 yellow onion, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 3/4 cup fat-free Italian salad dressing
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt


  1. In a large pot of salted, boiling water, cook the pasta until al dente. Rinse under cold water and drain.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, onion, bell pepper, tomatoes and mushrooms.
  3. Pour enough dressing over to coat; toss and refrigerate until chilled.
